Welcome to the website for Ballidon & Bradbourne Parish Council. The Council meets 3 times per year usually in February, May and October. All meetings of the Parish Council are open to the public. To find the date of the next meeting click on the link to the right.
The Parish Council currently has a casual vacancy, the vacancy notice can be viewed here Vacancy Notice – May 2022. If you are interested in joining the Parish Council please get in touch with the clerk by email.
Bradbourne residents now have a Neighbourhood Watch WhatsApp group which will notify residents of any incidents of concern. If any residents of Bradbourne or Ballidon would like to join the group then they should email the Clerk.
Potholes and other issues with the roads around Ballidon and Bradbourne can be reported directly on the Derbyshire County Council website
Bradbourne is famous for being a ‘doubly thankful village’ as the village suffered no losses during World War 1 or World War 2. More information is available in All Saints’ Church Bradbourne. More information about the history of Bradbourne can be found on the community page.
A public defibrillator is now installed in the phone box in Bradbourne, if anyone is nervous of using the defibrillator then these 2 short videos may help: Community Heartbeat Trust and St John’s Ambulance. Please note the Parish Council does not take responsibility for the deployment of the defibrillator.
